WhatsApp will be getting a serious update soon. It will contain group video calls, as stated by the parent company, Facebook, at annual F8 developer conference. Additionally, it will also include business based app and stickers to its app.
WhatsApp Video Calls:
WhatsApp director, Mubarik Imam, didn’t have much to speak on it yet, but according to reports it can be stated that it will allow 4 people to simultaneously participate in the video call. Additionally she also revealed that now WhatsApp has around 450 million users per day and over 2 billion minutes of audio and video calls are being made each day.
Finally, after years WhatsApp will release an update which will have stickers in it. Stickers have already been there on other Messaging services such as Facebook, Hike, Line etc. It will also allow third party apps to develop their own stickers.
WhatsApp Business App:
And finally WhatsApp is expanding in business too. It launched it business app on Android earlier this year. It is free right now. But the app may begin to charge large brands for additional perks that would help them reach more customers and make money.
