Fortnite has finally launched on Android devices. It was officially launched for Samsung devices last week, but it is now available on all the compatible Android devices. However, the game is still on beta.
Epic is using a special installer on their website to install the game, that means you won’t be able to find the game on Play Store. The installation totally depends on which phone you are using. If it is a Samsung device than the installation is much more simpler than you think, just in case you are using other Android device then there are a few hoops that you need to cross just for the installation of the game.
For Samsung devices, just head straight towards the Samsung Game Launcher or Epic’s website, tap on Fortnite and install the Fortnite beta which is available. The website will automatically install the installer along with the game.
List of compatible Samsung Devices:
Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 EDGE, S8, S8 Plus, S9, S9 Plus, Note 8, Note 9, Tab S3 and Tab S4.
Just in case you are using other Android device, here are the steps you need to follow. Go to the Epic’s website, sign up for the beta. The company will e-mail you the invite, through which you can then download the game. Also, the invite takes some time, so you need to be patient about it.
Before signing up for the game on non Samsung device, make sure you that check if your device is compatible or not. There is a list of phones on Epic’s website which are compatible for running Fortnite, you can check it and then install. However, most of the high end devices like Pixel, Pixel 2, OnePlus 5/5T, OnePlus 6, are compatible.
