You’ll witness ‘The Big Bang Theory’ for the last time next year!

We are quite heartbroken by the news. Unfortunately, ‘The Big Bang Theory‘ is going to air it’s last season by next year, 2019. The Big Bang Theory’s been entertaining us for a decade now and the audience is so not done with the news. Anyways, we are going to miss it, especially our beloved Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons).

We’ve already been witness to the much awaited wedding of Sheldon Cooper and Amy (Mayim Bialik), with none other than Star Wars’ Mark Hamill as the wedding officiant.

However CBS and Warner Bros TV had their joint statement read: “We are forever grateful to our fans for their support of The Big Bang Theory during the past 12 seasons.

“We, along with the cast, writers and crew, are extremely appreciative of the show’ success and aim to deliver a final season, and series finale, that will bring The Big Bang Theory to an epic creative close.”

Premiere Date:

CBS has confirmed that The Big Bang Theory will retain it’s Thursday night slot at 8pm in the US, followed by Young Sheldon at 8.30pm, so that’s a whole hour of Sheldon for you.

Season 12 will premiere on Monday, September 24 on CBS in the US, in line with the usual mid-to-late September slot for the show, and will then shift to its usual Thursday night slot that week from September 27. E4 airs the show in the UK.

Who’s back?

All of the main stars including Jim Parsons (Sheldon), Johnny Galecki (Leonard), Kaley Cuoco (Penny), Simon Helberg (Howard), Kunal Nayyar (Raj), Mayim Bialik (Amy) and Melissa Rauch (Bernadette). As we know The Big Bang Theory is incomplete without cameos so returns of Kevin Sussman as Stuart, Laurie Metcalf as Sheldon’s mum Mary, John Ross Bowie as Sheldon’s rival Dr Barry Kripke and Regina King as Janine Davis.

All we’ve left to say is,

The end is near!
